The Grove U8 & U9 Rugby vs Ashfold School

2017 11 28 14.35.50 1Under 9

The Grove have had another fantastic win for the U9 boys today and have closed out the rugby season in style.

The boys warmed up well with Kayne Nwuga working well as the captain directing his team and making clear choices from the outset. The Grove took an early lead with Joseph Imonioro, Keith Adeleye and Kayne getting in the first early tries. The Grove continued to work well with the entire team being rotated through plays and everyone getting the opportunity to represent the school. By half time the score stood at 5-1 to the The Grove. Kayne gathered in his team to discuss tactics for the second half and showed some great leadership.

The team continued to work well together scoring a further eight tries with Keith sprinting through the opposition to score five of the tries on his own.

The final score was 13-2 and was a fantastic way to finish their last Rugby match of the season. They've done fantastically well and should all be proud of their achievements this term.
