Larch and Rowan went aboard a magical time machine (our coach) and travelled back over 100 years to when cars and planes first took to the roads and skies. They marvelled at the monoplanes, biplanes, and triplanes! All impressed the tour guide with their knowledge on the penny farthing and excellent listening skills. The children even went aboard an old RAF plane. It felt much different to the planes we are used to today.
After lunch, the children took a ride on a 1913 Leyland Wellingborough and really got a feel of what it was like to travel on public transport over 100 years ago!
The bus stopped at the playground where children explored and played beautifully together on the equipment.
Before we knew it, it was time to get back aboard our magical time machine (coach) and back to school, just in time for tea!
